Western 360 is an exciting new Chamber Music Festival happening in London in August 2017!
Hello lovely people!
I just wanted to introduce my newest employee here at Violin Atelier Schmidt!
This is Frances - she'll be helping out in the Resting & Cuteness Department ;)
With apologies for any inconvenience this may cause, I will be closed for a couple weeks of paternity leave, planning to resume operations mid February.

Just a short note to wish all of my friends, family and valued customers a warm and heartfelt Christmas. Stay warm. Be safe.
After spending a very long time wrapping a 1/2-size violin (that my opa made for me) and setting up the front room for Eric's big photo shoot, we rustled him out of bed and handed him the violin in front of the camera...
With no real expectation of success, we were amazed with the knowing way in which he held and assessed the instrument. It seems I may have an apprentice in the making!
I will be out of town until the first of January. Please feel free to call or email during that time if you wish to book an appointment for the new year.
How amazing to see the professional poise and incredible talent that each of these young women brought to the stage. It was an honour to be there! A huge congratulations to mezzo-soprano Simona Genga, violinist Emily Rutkevich, flutist Joanne Chun and cellist Fiona Robson. BRAVO!!
We are so fortunate in London to have such rich and active musical culture, as evidenced by the calibre of our Community Orchestra and the next generation of young stars.
